Gek is an art enthusiast who was born in 1970 on the sunny island Singapore.  Since young, she loves doodling and laying on the green grass to capture whatever she saw around her; be it the blue sky, an indigo butterfly with yellow trimmings flapping by or tiny violet flowers swaying in the wind.  This is how intrigued she can get with colours!

After graduating from Temasek Polytechnic, with a Diploma in Graphic Design, Gek ventured into the graphic design industry and enjoyed working ever since. 

In May 2019, she had the privilege of participating in an exhibition, ’传承’ Succession, a watercolour paintings exhibition by renowned local artist Mr Goh Siew Guan and his students.

Gek’s wish is for people looking at her art pieces to draw encouragement, feel joy by sharing her perspectives expressed via watercolour paintings on sceneries and stories unfolding through her paintings on animals especially dogs!
