Following a distinguished 43-year career in advertising—which included three years as an Art Director in Tokyo, Japan—Gerald returned to his passion for painting upon retiring in 2018. He is an active member of both the Singapore Watercolour Society (SWS) and Club NAFA. Since 2020, his work has been regularly featured in the SWS annual watercolour exhibitions and the Ngee Ann National Teochew Artists’ Exhibition.
