Goh Siew Guan吴瑞源

Born in 1942 in Sarawak, Goh Siew Guan is a Singapore-based artist and former secondary school art teacher (1965–1998). After retiring from education, he began painting full‑time, focusing on Western painting and watercolour.

He has received several accolades, including the Dr Tan Tsze Chor Art Award with Distinction (2008, 2011) and was named Ngee Ann Artist of the Year (2016). Early in his career, he participated in The Singapore President’s Art Fair (1994).

Since his first solo exhibition in 2012, Goh has held five solo shows and joined numerous group exhibitions, such as:

- “Re‑Interpretation” International Contemporary Watercolour Exhibition in China (2014)

- “Colours of Rhythm” (2015)

- “Commemorating NS50 Through Art” with the Singapore Art Society (2017)

He also conducted watercolour demonstrations at Hwa Chong Cultural Centre (2018), Dunman Secondary School (2019), and the Federation of Art Societies at 9 Tagore Lane (2020). Goh remains active in local art society exhibitions across Singapore.
