Grace Li Jia holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hubei Institute of Fine Art, China and a Master’s in Design from Northumbria University in UK, blending academic rigor with years of experience as both an art educator and freelance designer. Since 2023, Grace has been working as a full-time visual artist based in Singapore.
Her work explores the character of everyday urban places, drawing inspiration from neighbourhood streets, historic districts, and quiet moments of city life. Through expressive colour and layered surfaces, she captures the atmosphere and cultural textures that shape the visual identity of the city.
Working across watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, and digital painting, her practice investigates how memory, place, and lived experience can be translated into a personal visual language.
