Donald has always been attracted to arts in every form. Painting actively in Chinese ink, pastel and Chinese calligraphy since early 2000. He then studied Watercolour under Mr Loy Chye Chuan in 2008. Despite his busy career, Donald enjoys spending his weekend in life drawing, outdoor paintings around Singapore and visiting arts exhibitions.

He has participated in various art societies’ annual exhibition in Singapore and selected for overseas joint exhibitions. He has also won several consolation and special prizes awards in Chinese calligraphy.

He joined Singapore Watercolour Society (SWS) in 2012 and served in various key appointments including Secretary-General. He helped to organize local and overseas exhibitions and coordinated several overseas painting trips. He is currently the President of SWS.
