Wahlukis is a Penang-based artist who discovered her passion for painting in 2020 during lockdown. She

creates meaningful art while making a difference in my Malaysian community, particularly for hospice

care. A proud finalist in multiple competitions with shortlistings and honorable mentions.

"As a Penang-based artist who discovered painting in my mature years during COVID, I embody the belief that

creativity has no (age) limit. My journey demonstrates that artistic expression can begin at any stage of

life and still flourish. My art serves a greater purpose—raising awareness and funds for hospice care through 

partnerships with organizations like Hospice Malaysia/Penang, Soroptimist, and Charis. My growing recognition in

competitions has expanded my ability to advocate for these important causes. Even allowing me to host

a solo exhibition to raise over 40,000 ringgit in funding for my hospice care partners."
