Dr Lim was the past president of the Singapore Watercolour Society and is currently Advisor of the Singapore Watercolour Society. He had undergone advanced watercolour courses at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and has been painting for about 20 years. He was on the board of the Asian Civilisation Museum and has an active interest in the arts. He has also been featured in International publications on artists. His paintings are in both private and public collections.
