An engineer by profession and a painting artist by passion.

Won the Gold Award in 2025 Penang International Watercolor Festival, Malaysia. And, won the Bronze Award in 2026 Penang International Watercolor Festival, Malaysia.

Learnt from many international masters including Alvaro Castagnet (Uruguay), Joseph Zbukvic (Australia), Andy Evansen (USA), Herman Pekel (Australia), Amit Kapoor (India), , Nina Volt (Australia), Praful Sawant (India).

Main medium of painting is watercolor (most works in live outdoor setting called "Plein Air") and main subjects are cityscape, landscape and portrait. Main medium of drawing is charcoal and subject is female figure.

My watercolor style is rooted in large-scale plein air painting, where I pursue clarity of focus through strong contrasts, simplified shapes, and confident, expressive brushwork. I am particularly interested in urban environments—bridges, streets, and public spaces—where light, structure, and human activity converge. My work aims to evoke atmosphere and emotion/ mood and energy while maintaining a disciplined sense of design.

Exhibited artwork in many local (including Singapore Watercolor Society, NAFA Alumni) and international exhibitions in India, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar.
