Choon Geok started her art journey in Chinese painting and over the years has transitioned into Western styles. She has been painting in watercolour since 2014. Her work has evolved from the realm of realism into her current enjoyment of painting in abstract. Choon Geok enjoys painting plein air and loves travelling the world while painting. Painting also gives her a special wonder for the world around her and an escape from a busy life. She is a member of the Singapore Watercolour Society, the Singapore Art Society and the Society of Chinese Artists. She was awarded the Dr Tan Tsze Chor Art Award 2018 for outstanding work presented at The Arts Award Exhibition in the Western Arts category.
