Aaron Gan (b. 1979, Singapore) is a full-time watercolour artist based in Singapore. His inspiration stems from both Western and Chinese painting aesthetics, a convergence of watercolour with the aesthetic of Chinese composition. In July 2012, he was selected to be one of only three Asian artists at the International Watercolour Biennial in Belgium, and his work was featured in Artist’s Palette, a leading Australian arts magazine (2013). His work has been covered extensively by the local press, including his first solo exhibition that was a resounding success, with all his works sold out.
