Singapore Watercolour Society

WORKSHOPS, TALKS AND DEMONSTRATIONS

In line with the objectives of SWS, workshops, talks and demonstrations are organized to assist members in their adventure in experimenting new techniques and styles of watercolour painting.

During workshops, talks and demonstrations, members are exposed to the experiences and imagination of world-renown artists, face-to-face. Members can discover different approaches to a subject, distinctive techniques, unique styles of painting and many more. This will assist the members in their own exploration of the use of the watercolour medium.

Overseas professional artists and watercolourists are invited to share their experiences with members in the Society’s premises. Invited guests are warmly hosted by the Society. Amongst them were Mr. Peh Eng Seng, Mr. Zhang KeRang from China, and Mr. Thurman Hewitt, the President of the World Watercolour Society in San Diego, USA.
